Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced talent acquisition specialist to join our team.

As a talent acquisition specialist, you will be responsible for determining job requirements, screening candidates, and forecasting hiring needs. You should possess extensive experience as a recruiter and the ability to attract the perfect candidate for each role

Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Determine selection criteria
  • Source potential candidates through social media and job boards
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department

Talent Acquisition Specialist Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a talent acquisition specialist, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and profiles.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and interview candidates.
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
