Loan Officer Job Description

[Company name] are searching for an experienced loan officer to act as a liaison between applicants and our financial institution

Ultimately, you will be managing different types of loans including home loans, business loans, and individual loans.

Loan Officer Responsibilities:

• Assess credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility
• Communicate with clients
• Justify decisions approvals/rejections
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Maintain and update account records
• Develop referral networks and cross-sell products and services
• Build relationships with customers
• Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations

Loan Officer Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a loan officer.
• Solid understanding of laws and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of computers and banking software.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
